Biography
Prior to Cornell
Monahan rowed for four years in high school, placing second at the Scholastic Nationals in 2010 Junior Varsity A, and also taking second at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta in both 2009 and 2010. He also placed fourth in the men’s varsity 8 at the 2010 Head of the Charles and was named team MVP for the Fall of 2010. Monahan also wrestled for three years.
Personal
Patrick Ryan Monahan is the son of Joseph and Kathleen Monahan and he has and older brother and a younger sister. Monahan is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
