As a Senior (2012)
During his final year with the Big Red, Funderburk again served as one of the team's punters. He had 20 punts on the year, averaging 34.4 yards per punt and pinning five of them inside the 20-yard line. He also rushed the ball once on the season. He was also awarded Cornell's Rick Casselman Coaches' Award for his unselfish dedication to sprint football.

As a Junior (2011)
Funderburk was the team's primary punter for the first four weeks of the season. He punted 13 times for an average of 27.5 yards per punt including a long of 52. He pinned opponents inside the 20 three times. He won the CSFL's Special Teams Player of the Week Award in week three when he punted four times for 131 yards, with his longest coming from 52 yards out. Funderburk also pinned three times inside the 20-yard line. Only one of Funderburk’s punts was returned that week. He also attempted one pass during the year.
