At Cornell
Randall started running the winter of his sophomore, running the 200 and 400. He spent the year transitioning from high school to college. One of the stronger sprinters, he uses his power to his advantage when running. In his junior year, Randall came into his own with a strong spring where he went 49.59 in the 400m followed by a 48.9 split at the Penn Relays. Randall looks like he will have a promising senior season after recently making the tough decision to stop playing football and giving a full commitment to track.

As a senior, Randall took part in Cornell's eighth-place 4x400 relay at the Indoor IC4As, running the first leg to help the team score a point. He also took part in the distance medley relay at the Penn Relays, helping the tema place sixth in the college section.

Before Cornell
Randall was captain of the track team his junior and senior year. He ran the 100, 200, 400 and also triple jumped. In Randall’s sophomore year he was fir st-team all-league for the 400m, second-team all league in the 4x400m and 300m and third-team all-league in the 55m. He made it to states for the 100m and 400m and state Meet of Champions for the 400m. In Randall’s junior year he ran on one of the faster times in northern New Jersey and did particularly well achieving honorable mention all county. In Randall’s senior year he was the leadoff man for Bergen County’s indoor 4x400m team of the decade and was nominated to the All-North Jersey team. He was first-team all-league in the 300m and 4x400m and second-team all-county in the 300m. Randall also set school records in the indoor 200, 4x400 and outdoor 4x200m.

Personal
Tom Randall is the son of Karen and Tom Randall. He has a younger sister, Alex, who attends the University of South Carolina
