At Cornell
In her junior season, Shutkind coxed the third varsity eight that finished in fifth place overall at the 2014 Eastern Sprints. The crew, which entered the weekend as the eight-seed, went on to win the Petite Finals at the 2014 IRA Regatta to place seventh overall. As a sophomore, Shutkind coxed the second varsity eight that won the Petite Finals at the 2013 EARC Sprints for seventh place overall before taking eighth at the 2013 IRA Regatta.
He served as coxswain of the open four during her rookie season, helping the crew to a first place finish in the Petite Finals at the 2012 IRA Championship.
