2013-14
Sachvie wrapped up a historic career with the Big Red, returning for the second semester to go 10-4 from the No. 1 position. The top-ranked junior player in Canada when he arrived at Cornell, Sachvie finished his collegiate career with a 44-23 record. He is a rare four-time College Squash Association All-America selection, and a four-time All-Ivy League selection. He was named a first-time All-American for a third time after advancing to the quarterfinals of the CSA Individual Championships. Sachvie finished the season ranked sixth in the country. He was also one of three finalists for the CSA's Skillman Award, which is given annually to the senior men's squash player who has demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship during his entire collegiate career.
2012-13
Sachvie once again anchored the top spot in the Big Red's lineup, posting an 11-8 record on his way to a third All-Ivy League honor and third All-American honor. He advanced to the quarterfinals of the Pool Division of the College Squash Association's Individual Championships, where he lost to top-seeded Todd Harrity of Princeton.
2011-12
In his second campaign as the Big Red's exclusive No. 1, Sachvie posted an 11-8 record en route to first-team All-Ivy League and second-team All-American honors. He twice defeated Yale's Kenneth Chan, including a three-game match on Feb. 17 to help the Big Red to its first ever Potter Cup quarterfinal victory. Sachvie went on to compete as the sixth seed in the Pool Division of the College Squash Association's Individual Championships, where he won a consolation match against Harvard's Gary Power.
2010-11
Sachvie finished 12-3 at the No. 1 position as a sophomore, finishing as the national runner-up at the College Squash Association's Individual Championships — a first in Big Red program history. He was a first-team All-American, was and named to the All-Ivy first team. Sachvie was also unanimously named Ivy League Rookie of the Year.
Prior to Cornell
Sachvie was the top-ranked Canadian Junior player, having represented his country at the World Junior Championships in both 2008 and 2010. He led Team Canada to an all-time best third-place finish at the 2010 World Team Championship in Ecuador.
Personal
Nick Sachvie is the son of Mark and Cindy Sachvie. His older sister, Lauren, is a senior co-captain with the Big Red's women's squash team, and his older brother, Chris, is a former standout member of the men's team. Sachvie is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, majoring in communications.
