Gbenjo finished her Cornell career strong, setting personal bests in the 60-meter dash and the 300 during the indoor season.

Gbenjo was a two-time state qualifier in track and field and twice qualified for the all-region team. She was a two-time team most valuable performer and was named to the Nevada all-state academic team in tennis, basketball and track and field.
Personal
Mercy O. Gbenjo is the daughter of Emmanuel and Grace Gbenjo andhas three brothers and two sisters. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
