As a Senior (2013-14)Kinney was one of 12 Cornell runners to advance to the Ivy League/Heptagonal Championships, where she finished the 6K race with a time of 23:49.8. Her earlier races include an 11th place 5K finish at the meet against Army, a 50th place 6K finish at the Princeton Championships, and a 223rd place finish at the Wisconsin Invitational.
Kinney competed at three meets in her final season, focusing exclusively in the 1500. She took 1
st place at the Cortland Classic Invitational. Her best time of the season came at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational, marking a 4:43.58 in an 8
th place finish.

As a Junior (2012-13)Kinney began the 2012 season with a 21st-place showing at the Army-Binghamton tri-meet, completing the course in 18:43.40. She then took 19th at the Yellowjacket Invitational, 10th in the Open Race at the Paul Short Run and 61st at the Princeton Invitational. Her best showing of the year came at the John Reif Memorial Run on the Cornell campus, as she took fifth place on the Moakley Course.
On the track, Kinney was a part of Cornell's DMR at the Indoor ECACs, helping the team to a fourth-place finish and five points. Kinney had a seasonal best of 4:44.30 in the 1500 at the Bison Outdoor Classic in April.
As a Sophomore (2011-12)Kinney was a constant presence in the Cornell top seven during the 2011 cross country season, as she started the year with a seventh-on-Cornell (ninth overall) finish in the Binghamton-Army tri-meet and ended her season with a seventh-place (28th overall) finish at the Heptagonal Championships. Kinney also took 33rd at the Colgate Invitational and topped her own personal best by 41 seconds at the Paul Short Invitational.
Kinney took 11th place in the preliminaries of the Indoor Heptagonals mile run, and she did the same at the Indoor ECACs a week later. Also at the Indoor ECACs, she ran the first leg of the distance medley relay and helped the Big Red to a third-place finish. Outdoors, she took 17th at the 1500 at the Heps, and she was also 12th in the 3K at the same meet.
As a Freshman (2010-11)Kinney had a very good freshman year, gaining valuable experience in cross country and qualifying for the ECAC Championships in the outdoor track season.
Before CornellKinney was a three-year team captain in cross country and once in track and field, earning all-state, all-group, all-conference, all-county and all-area honors. She was also a qualifier for the Millrose Games and was the Morris County Student-Athlete of the Year.
PersonalDale Annette Kinney is the daughter of James and Anne Kinney and has a younger brother. She is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
