As a Senior (2012-13)
Steffy concluded her Cornell cross country career with a 41st-place finish at the John Reif Memorial Run on The Moakley Course.
On the track, Steffy ended her Cornell career by running in three meets. She had a seasonal best 2:29.85 in the 800 in her final race at the Big Red Invite in late April.
Before Cornell
Steffy was an all-state runner and was a team captain and the team's recipient of the coaches award in the 2009-10 season. She earned 11 letters combined, four coming in indoor and outdoor track each and three in cross country.
Personal
Amanda Claire Steffy is the daughter of David and Jennifer Steffy and has a younger brother and two younger sisters. Her mother earned an MBA from Cornell's Johnson School in 1982. She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
