As a Senior (2012-13)
Wade finished his Cornell track career in style, taking first place among Cornell runners in its most important races of the year. Wade placed 18th overall at the NCAA Northeast Regionals  to earn All-Region status. Two weeks earlier, he was ninth place overall and first among Big Red finishers at the Heptagonal Championships. He earned Second  Team All-Ivy honors for that. Wade began the season with a fifth-place showing at the Army-Binghamton tri-meet, and the next week he moved up to second overall at the Yellowjacket Invitational. Wade was seventh overall and Cornell's top runner at the Paul Short Run, and he took 240th at the Wisconsin Invitational as Cornell's third runner. At the conclusion of the season, Wade was given the team's Edward Kirby Award for being the team's MVP as well as its Most Improved Award.

On the track, Wade thrilled with a sub-4:00 mile to break the Cornell school record. He ran 3:59.998 at the SPIRE Invite in Cleveland, Ohio in February. Later in the indoor season, Wade was part of the Big Red's winning 4x880-yard relay, took second in the 1000 and second in the mile to be named the meet's Most Outstanding Track athlete. He then ran the anchor of Cornell's 4x800 relay at the Indoor IC4As and finished his year with an eighth-place showing at the Outdoor Heps in the 1500.

As a Junior (2011-12)
Wade continued  his dabbling in cross country as a junior, and he took 26th place at the season-opening Army-Binghamton tri-meet. He followed that by taking 37th place at the Colgate Invitational and running in the 150s at the large Paul Short Invitational open race.

On the track, Wade took eighth at the Indoor Heps in the 800, and he followed that by helping Cornell score in the distance medley relay. He also ran in the 4x800 at the Penn Relays, helping Cornell to sixth place in the Championship of America run and helping to set the seventh-fastest time in school history.  In the 800 final at the Outdoor Heps, Wade again took eighth, this time with a time of 1:52.56. He finished his year by helping the Big Red qualify for the 4x800 finals at the Outdoor IC4As, a race the team would eventually finish in second place.

As a Sophomore (2010-11)
Wade played his hand at cross country sophomore year. Despite battling a case of mononucleosis, he made his first Heps meet, gaining valuable experience. In the indoor season Wade broke his own 1000m record, lowering it to 2:23.66. Wade's real breakthrough occurred in the 2011 Penn Relays 4x800m where he split a personal record 1:48.53. The next week he went on to claim his first Heps title, nipping a Princeton runner at the line.

As a Freshman (2009-10)
Wade's college track career started with a bang as he broke Cornell's indoor 1000m school record with a 2:23.99 clocking. Only two weeks later he dipped under the 1:50 mark in the 800m for the first time, stamping his name on another Cornell recrod with a 1:49.81 at The Armory. Wade's Heps debut resulted in a second place finish in both the 800m and 4x800m relay. In the outdoor season, Wade finished fifth at the Heps meet and went on to run a personal record 1:49.67 at the NCAA East Regional meet.

Before Cornell
Wade was a three-time Boston Globe all-scholastic team member and a two-time state champion in the 800m. He also won a state crown in the 600m and was the New England 800m champion. Wade was a four-time team most valuable performer and a two-time league MVP while serving as team captain for three seasons.
