Biography

Sophomore Season — 2013-14
Daniels was ranked 66th in the country by the College Squash Association after going 7-9 as one of just two Big Red competitors to appear in all 16 matches. While she most frequently appeared at the No. 5 position, she was a combined 5-1 from the Nos. 2 and 4 spots. Daniels was 2-5 in Ivy League play, including a three-game victory over Brown's Mina Shakarshy on Jan. 11 and a four-game win against Dartmouth's Kensy Balch on Feb. 2 — both from the No. 5 position. She then had a three-game victory over Ariel Posner in the Big Red's 6-3 victory over rival Stanford in the Howe Cup consolation semifinals.

Freshman Season — 2012-13
Daniels was a regular contributor from the start, posting a 9-8 record from the middle part of the order. All but three of her matches came from the Nos. 5-7 positions, though she debuted with a three-game sweep of Hamilton's Claire Corroon on Nov. 17 at the No. 3 spot. Daniels had a four-match winning streak from Jan. 13-20, all in three games. She was 3-4 in Ivy League play. Daniels then clinched the Big Red's 5-4 victory over Stanford in the consolation semifinals of the Howe Cup with a four-game win over Ariel Posner at the No. 7 position. The victory allowed the Big Red to finish sixth in the national rankings for a second straight season. Daniels finished the season ranked 72nd in the country by the CSA.

Prior to Cornell
Daniels won a gold medal with Team British Columbia in the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She finished sixth at the 2011 Canadian Junior Open and also took fourth that year in the Alberta Jesters tournament — where she was also presented the sportsmanship award.
