As a Junior (2013)
Monahan served as one of the Big Red's captains during his junior season, but did not play due to injury.
As a Sophomore (2012)
Monahan continued right where he left off as a freshman, proving himself a vital cog in the Big Red's defense by racking up 55 tackles. That number, the second highest total on the roster, included 1.5 tackles for loss. He also had an interception and three broken up passes. Monahan earned All-CSFL Second Team honors for his spectacular season.
As a Freshman (2011)
Monahan proved himself in his first year at Cornell, as he played in all seven games and had an interception returned for a touchdown. He finished fifth on the team with 36 tackles, including 17 solo tackles, and he had two interceptions total to his name.
