Biography
At Cornell
Senior (2012)
Semenetz closed out his Big Red career by being a key cog in the offensive line yet again. Starting in all seven games for Cornell, Semenetz helped protect the blind side of quarterback Brendan Miller. He was named to the All-CSFL First Team and also won Cornell's Al Baldini Outstanding Senior Award, given out to the seniors who have contributed the most to the team over their career.
Junior (2011)
Semenetz was a key member of the Cornell offensive line in 2011, starting and playing in six games to aid the running game greatly.
Sophomore (2010)
Semenetz saw action in four games during his sophomore season, playing in both games against Mansfield, as well as the contests against Post and Penn. He finished the year with one tackle.
At Mahopac HS
Semenetz was a two-sport athlete at Mahopac high school, lettering four times in wrestling and twice in soccer. He was named all-league in wrestling as both a junior and as a senior.
Personal
Zachary Joseph Semenetz is the son of Eric and Marianne Semenetz and he has one younger sister and one younger brother. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
