As a Senior (2015-16)

Holl ran in three cross country races as a senior, placing a season-best seventh at the John Reif Memorial.

On the track, she helped the 4x800 meter relay team to a win and the distance medley relay team to a third-place finish at Greg Page Relays. Individually, she won the 1000 at the Robert J. Kane Invitational. At Ivy League Indoor Heptagonals, her distance medley relay team took fourth. She also qualified for indoor IC4A Championships in the mile, placing 17th. Outdoors, she won the 800 at the Cornell Outdoor Upstate Challenge.

As a Junior (2014-15)
At the Harry Anderson Invitational, Holl finished sixth with a 5K time of 18:23.4. She led the Big Red on the 6K course at the Princeton Invitational, finishing in 22:31 to place 32nd. She also finished 15th overall (21:58) in the 6K open race at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh.
 
On the track, Holl won the mile at the Kane Invitational in 5:05.20. She was also a member of the winning distance medley relay team at the Upstate Challenge, with the team beating the field by 30 seconds. Her two-mile relay team placed third at the Beantown Challenge.

As a Sophomore (2013-14)
Holl ran in three 5K races and one 6K race this season. At the season-opener against Army, Holl placed 13th with a time of 18:43.7. Next, she placed 53rd at the Boston College Invitational and 10th at the Reif Memorial Run. She closed out the season running at the Princeton Championships, where she finished 21st with a time of 22:19.0.

Holl continued to compete in the middle distances for the Big Red in her second season. She marked a season best mile of 5:07.39 in a 17th place finish at the Nittany Lion Challenge. Her best 1000 came at the Cornell Upstate Challenge, posting a 2:59.77 in a 5th place finish. Outdoors, she focused on the 1500, running a season best time of 4:43.10 in an 11th place finish at the Larry Ellis Invitational.

As a Freshman (2012-13)
Holl started her Cornell cross country career with a 38th-place finish at the Army-Binghamton tri-meet to begin the season. She also took 28th at the John Reif Memorial Run.

On the track, Holl made it to the ECAC Indoor Championship, running for the Big Red in the DMR. She helped the Big Red place fourth and score four points for the teams. Outdoors, she made the Cornell 4x800 relay team that placed fifth and scored two points while also placing 17th in the 1500. She ran a 5:03.73 mile at the Terrier Classic in late January and ran the 800 in 2:17.48 at the Bison Outdoor Classic.

Before Cornell
The 2011 bronze medalist at the Pennsylvania state meet in the 1600, Holl was among Pennsylvania’s best middle distance runners and cross country runners. She comes to Cornell with a personal best of 5:02 for 1600 meters.

Sarah Elizabeth Holl is the daughter of Richard and Mary Holl. She has one younger sister named Marissa.
