Goodman's up-to-date resultsAs a Junior (2014-15)Goodman continued to be a solid thrower as a junior, moving to no. 8 all-time on the program charts with a discus throw of 151 feet, 2 inches at the outdoor UC Riverside meet. She placed first at Penn Relays in the discus at 145-1 and earned a runner-up finish at 150-2 at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational, where she also finished fourth in the shot put at 38-8 1/4. At Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonals, she finished sixth in the discus (146-9) and 11
th in the shot put (38-4). Her eighth-place discus throw at 150-4 was earned her All-East honors at outdoor ECAC Championships.
As a Sophomore (2013-14)Goodman continued to be one of the Big Red’s strongest throwers in her second season. She set new personal bests in all of her throwing events in 2014. Her season of personal bests got off to a flying start at the Cornell Upstate Challenge, where she shattered her previous best weight throw with new top mark of 42’ 4” to earn 11
th place. She notched a career best shot put mark of 42’ 8.75” in a 1
st place finish at the Bomber Invitational. She competed in both events at the Indoor Heps, marking a 9
th place finish in the shot put and 15
th place in the weight throw. Outdoors, she marked a new career best in the discus at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational, with a 1
st place throw of 149’ 10”. She took home a 13
th place finish at the Outdoor Heps.
As a Freshman (2012-13)Goodman competed for the Big Red at the Outdoor Heps in her first year with the team, throwing the discus 39.34 meters to place 11th in the competition.
Before CornellGoodman is a talented throwing prospect who won the shot put and the discus at her district meet, took third at regionals in the discus, and seventh at the Texas state meet in the discus. Goodman has personal bests of 40’ 5” in the shot put and 143’ 3” in the discus.
