Biography

At Cornell
2013-14: Dixon served as a more than capable backup to All-American Nahshon at 125 pounds, going 8-4 with seven of his wins coming by way of bonus points for the Big Red. He placed an impressive third at the New York State Intercollegiates, dropping his only match in overtime. Dixon was in the lineup for three duals, all Big Red victories, including Ivy League triumphs over Harvard and Columbia. He wrestled for the Big Red at the Southern Scuffle, earning wins over wrestlers from Stanford and Ohio.

2012-13: Dixon went 20-15 on the season, including 9-6 in dual meet competition, and finished seventh at the EIWA championships. He finished fourth at the Binghamton Open at 125 pounds, but wrestler nearly the entire season at 133. Dixon earned honorable mention All-Ivy accolades after picking up three league wins. Dixon finished eighth at the New York State Intercollegiate championships.

2011-12: Dixon notched a 13-5 record during his freshman season for the Big Red. He opened his collegiate career by placing sixth at the Binghamton Open at 125 pounds. In his first dual for Cornell, he defeated Alex Abreu by a 6-1 decision to help the Big Red cruise past Lehigh, 24-12. Dixon worked his way to an eighth place finish at the Southern Scuffle with four wins including two by major decision. The Big Red rookie finished his year off strong by winning the New York State Intercollegiate Championships and the National Collegiate Open in Richmond, Va. 

Prior to Cornell
Dixon was a four-time Missouri state finalist, capturing championships in his junior and senior seasons at 112 and 125 pounds. As a senior, the Intermat Top 50 recruit won the title at the KC Wrestling Classic at 125 pounds and took sixth at the Ironman tournament at the same weight. Dixon also earned All-America honors in freestyle at Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota, including a sixth place medal in 2009 and a third place finish in 2010. He finished his high school career with a record of 177-10.  Dixon was a four-time Academic All-State pick and an Academic All-American.

Personal
Bricker Dee Dixon is the son of Tim and Terri Dixon and has two older brothers. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
