Biography

As a Sophomore (2014)
King did not appear in any fixtures during the 2014 season.

As a Freshman (2013)
King made one appearance in goal for the Big Red in 2013, earning the start against Colgate on Oct. 15. He made four saves in the double-overtime, 0-0, draw for his first collegiate shutout. 

Before Cornell
King, a 6’4” goalkeeper, also played his club soccer for Eastside FC. He has been part of five Washington state championships and took part in the USYSA National Championships in 2011 and 2012, winning the bronze medal twice. King also excelled at the high school level, captaining Issaquah during his junior and senior years while being named All-League First Team the last two years and winning his team's Defensive MVP and Coach’s Award. He led the league in shutouts and goals against average and was named KingCo 4A First Team in 2011 and 2012. King was also recognized by the state for having “exemplary individual sportsmanship.”

Personal
Evan Scott King is the son of Scott and Sandy King. He has an older sister, Samantha, and he is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
