Second Team All-CSFL (2012 & 2013)

As a Senior (2013)
One of the team's five captains on the season, Higgins played in all seven games for Cornell, making 23 total tackles with 11 solo stops. He also posted 2.5 tackles for a loss of nine yards, as well as a six-yard sack. He was named to the All-CSFL Second Team at the end of  the season. 

As a Junior (2012)
Higgins took part in every game during his junior season, placing fifth on the team with 35 total tackles (17 solo, 18 assisted). He was a crucial part of the Big Red linebacking corps, starting in five games and picking up five tackles for a loss. Higgins had 4.5 sacks and broke up four passes as he earned a spot on the All-CSFL Second Team.

As a Sophomore (2011)
Higgins saw action in six games, starting in five. He tied for sixth on the team with 32 tackles and was fourth on the roster with 3.5 tackles for loss. Higgins also recorded one sack.

Prior to Cornell
Higgins lettered twice for North Allegheny HS, leading the team to sectional championships in 2007 and 2009 while being named as an all-conference linebacker in 2009. He also lettered twice in track and field, helping the team to a league championship in 2009.

Personal
Kyle David Higgins is the son of Colin and Linda Higgins and has one older sister and one younger brother. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
