As a junior (2014-15)
• Did not see varsity competition.

As a sophomore (2013-14)
• Rendina went 2-2 with one win by major decision as a sophomore while competing at 141 pounds.
• He competed in the Millersville Open, earning wins over wrestlers from York and Old Dominion, and also earned a start in the Big Red’s dual meet victory over Hofstra.

As a freshman (2012-13)
• Rendina went 9-5 with six bonus wins in his first season with the Big Red.
• He wrestled in three tournaments (Lock Haven Tournament, Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Tournament, Edinboro Open), finishing second at the Millersville Hitchcock tournament, earning wins over Derek Reber of Penn State, Luke Ludke of George Mason and Jimmy Carucci of Lehigh before dropping a one-point decision in the finals to NCAA qualifier Joe Spisak of Virginia.
• Rendina won four bonus point matches at the Edinboro Open.

Prior to Cornell
• Rendina was a four-time letter winner in wrestling at Dundee HS.
• A two-time Michigan state champion, he was also all-state three times.
• Rendina is a Senior National All-American, Fila Cadet All-American and a two-time Super 32 All-American.
• He was also a Northeast and Central Regional champ at 130 pounds and a Western Regional champ at 125 pounds.
• Rendina was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal
• Joseph Jude Rendina is the son of Gina and Joe Ray Rendina and has one brother and one sister.
• His older brother, Pete, wrestled for the University of Michigan.
• Majoring in viticulture and enology, Rendina is a student in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
