Biography

At Cornell
In his junior season, Volosky rowed in the third varsity eight that finished in fifth place overall at the 2014 Eastern Sprints. The crew, which entered the weekend as the eight-seed, went on to win the Petite Finals at the 2014 IRA Regatta to place seventh overall. As a sophomore, Volosky rowed in the fourth varsity eight that finished just outside the medals with a fourth-place finish at the 2013 EARC Sprints. 

Prior to Cornell
Volosky was a three-time letter winner at Central Catholic HS, placing fifth at the 2010 Head of the Charles Regatta. He is also a four-time scholastic national silver medalist, and captained the team during his senior year.

Personal
George Andrew Volosky is the son of George and Joanne Volosky and has two younger brothers. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
