Sherwood's up-to-date results

As a Sophomore (2014-15)
Sherwood competed primarily in the hurdle events in his sophomore season. His highest placing at an indoor event was his third-place finish in the 60m hurdles (8.51) at the Kane Invitational, where he also finished fourth in the 400 (1:07.57). Outdoors, he won the 400 hurdles at the Big Red Invitational, crossing the line in 53.93. At the same meet, his 4x400 team ran to victory in 3:25.17. He also finished second in the 400 hurdles at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational (54.47) and third at the Upstate Challenge (55.83).

As a Freshman (2013-14)
Sherwood put together a solid opening campaign for the Big Red. He was a fixture on the indoor 4x4 relay team, while he competed in a variety of sprint and sprint hurdle events. He had an excellent showing at the Bomber Invitational, helping the 4x4 team to a 2nd place finish, while adding 4th place finish in the 60 hurdles in a season best time of 8.42 and 2nd place finish in the 400. At the Indoor Heps, he competed in the 60 hurdles and the 400, finishing 11th and 13th respectively. Outdoors, Sherwood found his niche in the 400 hurdles. He took home a 29th place finish at the Stanford Invitational, however, the following week he shaved 3.62 seconds off his time to finish 1st at the Bison Outdoor Classic. He had a fantastic performance at the Big Red Outdoor Invitational, helping the 4x4 relay team to a 1st place finish, while scoring another 1st place finish in the 400 hurdles. He stayed on a role, taking 1st place in the 400 hurdles the following week at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational. Riding the wave of success, Sherwood took home 3rd place at the Outdoor Heps with a season best time of 52.22, which was good enough to send him to the NCAA East Prelims. He concluded the season with a 29th place finish at the prelims, coming up just 0.06 seconds short of his personal best.
