2009-10
David went 2-3 with one win by fall as a freshman in 2010. He opened his career with a pin at the Binghamton Open and also wrestled at the Body Bar Invitational.

Prior to Cornell
David was a three-year captain for King Phillip Regional HS where he earned four letters in wrestling. He was a Massachusetts state finalist and a two-time sectional champion. He won the league title three times, and competed on five national all-star teams. David was the NFHS Spirit of Sport award recipient and National Sportsmanship award winner. He was a member of the National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society. David also earned three letters running cross country.

Personal
Conner Preston David is the son of Dave David and Geralyn Rose and has two brothers and two sisters. His younger brother, Logan, also wrestles for Cornell. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
