At Cornell
As a junior, Jones won a silver medal by stroking the lightweight four without coxswain at the 2015 IRA Regatta. He also helped the Big Red earn its second consecutive Jope Cup by rowing in the second varsity eight that won a silver medal at the 2015 EARC Sprints. During his sophomore season, Jones rowed in the second varsity eight boat that took the bronze medal at the 2014 Eastern Sprints and helped the Big Red to earn its first Jope Cup since 2008. In his first season, Jones rowed in the first freshman eight boat that took the silver medal at the 2013 EARC Sprints.
