Biography
At Cornell
Walker moved into the second varsity eight boat as a junior and won a bronze medal at the 2014 Eastern Sprints, helping the Big Red to earn its first Jope Cup since 2008. As a sophomore, Walker rowed in the third varsity eight that won the silver medal at the 2013 EARC Sprints. He rowed as a member of the freshmen eight during his rookie season and helped the crew to a fourth place finish at the 2012 EARC Sprints. During the regular season, the freshmen eight earned victories over Penn, MIT, Columbia and Dartmouth.
Prior to Cornell
Walker lettered four times in both cross county and track & field in high school.
Personal
Jackson Ryan Walker is the son of Stephen and Rebecca Walker. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
