Biography

Senior Season — 2014-15
Au posted a 9-8 record from the bottom half of the order, most frequently appearing at the No. 7 position — though she won all three matches where she moved up to the No. 6 spot. Au started the season on a torrid seven-match winning streak, including Ivy League victories against opponents from Columbia, Brown and Yale. Eight of her nine victories on the season came in three sets.

Junior Season — 2013-14
Au was 5-9 on the season from the middle of the lineup, competing as high as the No. 3 position and as low as No. 6. She was 3-4 in Ivy League matches, including a come-from-behind five-game victory over Penn's Michelle Wong on Feb. 7. Her other two league victories came against Columbia's Reyna Pacheco and Brown's Katherine Elliott-Moskwa. Au finished the season ranked 74th in the country by the College Squash Association.

Sophomore Season — 2012-13
Au helped settle the middle of the Big Red's lineup, posting a 10-8 record from primarily the No. 5 spot. She also made her first career appearance at the No. 1 position on Jan. 13, defeating St. Lawrence's Brigitte Tousignant in four games. That tilt was part of a six-match winning streak for Au, including five-game victories over opponents from Bates and Trinity. She was 3-4 in Ivy League play and finished the season ranked 71st in the country.

Freshman Season — 2011-12
Au posted a 10-9 record in her collegiate debut, finishing the season with a national ranking of No. 63. She most frequently competed at the No. 5 spot after moving up a slot since the beginning of the season. She pieced together a string of eight victories over 10 matches from Nov. 19 to Feb. 3, then defeated Aditi Maliwal in four sets during Cornell's dramatic 5-4 win over Stanford on Feb. 25 in the consolation semifinals of the Howe Cup. Au then went on a deep run in the Holleran Division of the College Squash Association's Individual Championships, advancing to the consolation finals — a run that allowed her to improve her national standing by eight spots.

Prior to Cornell
Au is a two-time member of the Canadian Junior Women's Squash team in 2009 and 2010. She also earned a bronze medal in the 2007 Canada Winter Games, a pair of British Columbia provincial championships (in 2008) and BC Winter Games championships (2004 and 2006).
