Biography
At Cornell
As a freshman (2016-17)
• Started off his junior season as a member of the fifth varsity eight.
• Also rowed for the fourth varsity eight where he helped the crew take bronze in the Grand Final at the 2017 EARC Sprints.
As a sophomore (2015-16)
• Rowed in the fourth varsity eight that took the bronze medal at the 2016 Eastern Sprints.
• He helped Cornell earn the Leonard Cup with a win over Penn and Harvard, as well as posting victories over Princeton and Yale.
As a freshman (2014-15)
• In his first season with the Big Red, Munday won a gold medal with the fourth varsity eight at the 2015 EARC Sprints.
Prior to Cornell
• Rowed for three years and was named the captain of his club team for the 2014 season.
• Also won multiple national championship in kayaking events and competed in the Junior Olympics for kayaking.
Personal
• Brynn Rodney Munday is the son of Hugo and Mari Munday and he has one sister, Eva, who is a member of the women’s rowing team at Dartmouth.
• Enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
