Cornell University Athletics

As a Senior (2017)
• Slid into the starting keeper role for the final 12 games of the season and appeared in 13 matches overall to earn a record of 6-5-1.
• First game as a starter this year was one to remember as a he helped Cornell to a 1-0 overtime victory over then-No. 11 Syracuse, marking the first time the Orange had been shutout all year.
• In total, notched three shutouts, with others coming against Harvard and Brown.
• Made 49 total saves on the year, tying his career-high with eight stops against Columbia (11/11).
• Averaged 3.77 saves per game, the third most in the Ivy League.

As a Junior (2016)
• Made four starts for the Big Red as a junior, going 0-3-1 while posting a 2.41 goals against average and a .550 save percentage.
• Made a season-high four saves in the season-opening 2-2 tie with Central Connecticut State. 

As a Sophomore (2015)
• Earned the starting role in net in the second half of the season, helping the Big Red to a 3-4 record through the last seven games of the year, posting a 1.15 goals-against average and .800 save percentage.
• Recorded his first career shutout in a 1-0 win over Colgate on Oct. 13 and notched a career-high eight saves in a 2-1 overtime win at Princeton on Oct. 31.

As a Freshman (2014)
• Appeared in two matches for the Big Red in his rookie season.
• Made his debut in the opener at No. 2-ranked Louisville, playing two minutes while starting keeper Zach Zagorski was being attended to on the sidelines.
• Also came on in relief of Zagorski in the second game of the season opening road trip at Xavier, seeing 10:57 of game action.

Before Cornell
• Played with the Chicago Fire of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy for three seasons and was part of a Midwest Regional Premier League champion in 2011 while playing for Eclipse Select Soccer Club.
• Helped direct his club team to regional and league titles and placed third at U.S. Club Nationals in 2012.
• Was part of the state's second-ranked high school team at Hinsdale Central HS in 2012, earning a conference title and a regional championship.

Personal
• Mitchell David Meyer is the son of Keith and Eileen Meyer.
• He has an older brother, William, who attends Boston College '16.
• He also has a twin brother, Christian, who is attending Emory University '18. 
• He is enrolled in the SC Johnson College of Business.
