Biography
As a Senior (2015)
Carfi appeared in five games as a senior, finishing the season with four tackles and a fumble recovery.
As a Junior (2014)
Carfi recorded 13 tackles in seven games for the Big Red, including seven solo hits.
As a Sophomore (2013)
Carfi played in six of the Big Red's seven games in his second season, making seven tackles including five solo. He recorded three sacks for 23 yards and had an additional 2.5 tackles for a loss also totaling 23 yards. He forced one fumble one fumble on the year.Â
As a Freshman (2012)
Carfi played in two contests for Cornell during his first year on campus, taking the field against Army and Mansfield in the season finale.
Before Cornell
Carfi played football in high school for four years as a linebacker, fullback and tight end. As a defender on his lacrosse team, Carfi advanced to the 2011 Nassau County quarterfinals. He also captained Roslyn's bowling team.
Personal
Skylar William Carfi is the son of Joseph and Rebecca Carfi. He has an older brother, Alex.
