Biography
As a senior (2016)
• Was one of the team’s most consistent contributors on floor and also earned a spot in the bars rotation during the season.
• Went 9.725 or better on floor in five of her final six meets.
• Closed her career out with a bang, scoring a career-high 9.825 on floor at the USAG Collegiate Nationals to place ninth in the Big Red’s session.
• That score sits ninth in school history.
• Earned a spot on the ECAC All-Academic team.
As a junior (2015)
• Teixeira was a regular starter on bars and floor as a junior in 2015.
• She qualified for USAG Collegiate Nationals in both events.
• Her 9.665 regional qualifying score was good for third on the team.
• Three floor routines scored a 9.7 or better during the season, including a high of 9.775 at West Virginia.
• Scored a season-high 9.575 on bars at the Ivy Classic.
As a sophomore (2014)
• Teixeira was a steady contributor on floor as a sophomore in 2014, starting in 11 of the team’s 12 meets.
• She posted a season-best score of 9.700 against Towson, a mark that also registered as a career-best.
As a freshman (2013)
• Teixeira started on floor in seven meets for the Big Red in 2013, recording a 9.450 or better in each.
• She scored a season-high 9.625 at Rutgers and went 9.6 at the Pittsburgh quad meet.
Prior to Cornell
• Teixeira was a four-year member of the gymnastics team at Holliston HS and at 10.0 Academy Gymnastics.
• She was a state beam and floor champion and a national qualifier on both events.
Personal
• Julohn Antonia Teixeira is the daughter of John and Julene Teixeira and has a sister.
• Her uncle, Hassan Graham, played five seasons in the NFL with the New England Patriots.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
