Biography

As a Senior (2016)
Price saw action in one game his senior season, putting in 45 minutes against Harvard on Oct. 8.

As a Junior (2015)
Price continued to be a key contributor as part of the Big Red defense, appearing in 14 games and logging over 1,000 minutes. As a center back, he helped was integral in helping the team never concede more than two goals in a game. He also posted a career-high five shots on the season.

As a Sophomore (2014)
Price IV was a huge performer for the Big Red in his second season. He stepped into a starting role – earning the nod in all 17 games on the year. His performance was a major contributing factor in helping the Cornell equal last season’s program record mark for goals allowed in a season (11). He finished the year with two assists, tallying helpers at Binghamton (Sept. 13) and at Brown (Oct. 25).

As a Freshman (2013)
Price saw action in ten games for the Big Red his first season, earning five starts. He recorded two shots on goal, both against Colgate on Oct. 15. 

Before Cornell
Price played for the New Orleans Jesters in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). His former club team, Gulf Coast Dynamo, was the 2012 and 2013 state champions of Mississippi. He served as his club captain for six years and in 2012, led the team to a Disney Showcase title. He excelled for his high school team as well, earning Second Team All-State, First Team All-District (2012, 2013) and District Offensive Player of the Year honors his senior season. He was voted as the team’s MVP, and selected to play in the Louisiana State All-Star game. He is his school’s all-time leader in goals, assists, and total points with 37 goals and 36 assists. Price also played two years of high school football as a kicker and punter.

Personal
Ralph Lee Price IV is the son of Ralph Lee Price III and Amy Price. He has two younger brothers, Luke and Eli, and a younger sister, Mikayla. His uncle, Dave Delenick, was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in1974.
