As a Senior (2016)
D'Ambrosio appeared in all seven games as a senior, finishing with 26 tackles - including 21 unassisted - and had three tackles for a loss of 13 yards. He also had one interception, coming against Penn.

As a Junior (2015)
D'Ambrosio was named to an All-CSFL team for the third consecutive season, earning second-team honors after a strong junior season, finishing the year with a team-leading 49 tackles, including 31 unassisted. He was named CSFL Defensive Player of the Week after the Big Red's comeback win over Franklin Pierce, when D'Ambrosio posted a season-high 14 tackles, including two sacks for a loss of 10 yards. He also recovered a fumble for 32 yards, scoring the Big Red's first touchdown of the game.

As a Sophomore (2014)
D’Ambrosio was named Defensive First-Team All-CSFL after finishing the season with a team-leading 41 tackles, including 27 solo hits. He also had nine tackles for a loss of 17 yards and 2.5 sacks. He intercepted two passes, including an 18-yard return in the Big Red’s season-opening win 28-7 over Franklin Pierce.

As a Freshman (2013)
D'Ambrosio led the Big Red in interceptions and was third in the CSFL with three picks for 44 yards, including two against Princeton at home. He played in all seven games and earned All-CSFL honorable mention at the conclusion of the season. He finished with 34 tackles, including 23 solo stops and an additional five tackles for a loss of a 11 yards. He established a career-high with nine tackles against Army.

Before Cornell
D'Ambrosio played four years of football in high school as a linebacker and long snapper. Named the 2012 CHSAA Defensive Player of the Year, D'Ambrosio was also named All-League twice, All-Metro Honorable Mention once and  Second Team All-Long Island once. D'Ambrosio was the league leader in tackles twice and was a captain for two years.
He was also a point guard on his high school basketball team for one year.

Personal
Christopher Michael D'Ambrosio is the son of Andrew and Suzanne D'Ambrosio. He has an older brother, Andrew, who also attends Cornell.
