Biography
As a Junior (2014-15)
Meyer helped the Big Red to an Ivy League team title with a championship in the Open Flat division. She also qualified for the Regional Show, where she placed third in Open Flat and Open Fences. She also finished third in Open Flat at Zone 2 Championships.
Before Cornell
Meyer has 10 years of equestrian experience in equitation, jumping and the hunters class. She was an IHJA Junior Medal Champion in 2008 and 2009, an ASPCA Maclay Regional Qualifier in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012, a USET Talent Search National Qualifier from 2008 to 2012 and a USHJA Junior Jumpter Stirrup Cup Reserve athlete in 2010. Meyer also ran cross country for two seasons in high school.
Personal
Meridith Bright Meyer is the daughter of Karl and Barbara Meyer. She has an older sister named Jessyca. She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
