Biography
As a Junior (2016-17)
• Thompson moved up to the Novice division during a successful show year and qualified for regionals at Alfred University.
As a Sophomore (2015-16)
• Thompson was a member of the squad that placed seventh at nationals.
As a Freshman (2014-15)
• In her first collegiate event, Thompson finished second in the Walk Trot Canter at the first Alfred Show.
• After winning in a blue ribbon in the event in the beginner division, she moved up to the advanced division at the Nazareth Show.
• She finished second in the advanced division at the second Alfred Show.
Before Cornell
• Thompson played two years of tennis in high school.
Personal
• Tamara Janai Thompson is the daughter of Tommy and Lisa Thompson and has four siblings.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
