Freshman Season — 2015-16
Scargle finished fifth on the team with a scoring average of 77.33 across nine rounds, and he had the unique distinction of being the only member of the team to card two 69s on the year. The first came as a member of the Big Red's 'B' team at the Cornell Invitational. Making his collegiate debut, Scargle bookended his first 69 of the year with two more solid rounds to finish ninth individually. He later finished tied for sixth among the limited field at the Cornell Spring South Florida Invitational, where he opened the weekend with a 3-under-par 69 on the Fazio Course at PGA National.
