Sophomore Season — 2016
McCormick once again helped anchor the Big Red, where she split the team's Best Defending Player award with fellow central defense work horse Kailey Joyce. McCormick's 1,234 minutes ranked third on the team, and she appeared in all of the team's 16 games and started all but one. She was one of just three players on the squad to record multiple assists. McCormick's first assist came on the team's only goal Sept. 4 against Syracuse, and the second was in an Oct. 29 contest against Princeton. 

Freshman Season — 2015
McCormick had a terrific debut season with the Big Red, teaming up with Kailey Joyce as the central defenders that helped the squad tie a single-season record with 12 shutouts. McCormick had 15 starts while appearing in all of the squad's 17 games, though she was intentionally rested in the two contests she didn't start. Her 1,515 minutes played ranked second on the team only to Joyce. McCormick also had the unique distinction of assisting on the Big Red's first goal of the season, taking a free kick Aug. 30 against Loyola which was redirected into the net by classmate Jessica Ritchie.

Prior to Cornell
McCormick was named to the all-state team in 2014 after serving as a Western Reserve Acaemy captain for a second consecutive season. She was then selected to the prestigious National Soccer Coaches' Association of America's Scholar All-America Team in 2015. She played her club soccer with Internationals SC.

Personal
Zoe Maria McCormick is the daughter of Marty and Nicolle McCormick, and she has an older brother, Jack, who competes with the soccer and lacrosse teams at Colorado College. Both of her parents, her grandfather, and two aunts are Cornell graduates, and her father also played soccer for the Big Red. She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
