As a sophomore (2016-17)
• Was injured in his first match of the season, missing the remainder of the year.

As a freshman (2015-16)
• Closed his rookie season with an 18-9 overall record and an NCAA bid at 125 pounds.
• Earned a wild card bid to the NCAA championships after a strong rookie season.
• Was a unanimous first-team All-Ivy League selection.
• Upset 11th-seeded Ronnie Bresser of Oregon Sate in the NCAA first round.
• Placed fourth at 125 pounds at the 2016 EIWA championships, losing a pair of matches to NCAA qualifier Zack Fuentes of Drexel.
• Had a 6-8 record on the year against NCAA qualifiers
• First-year starter ranked among the top 25 wrestlers at his weight throughout the season.
• Finished second at the New York State Intercollegiates after defaulting out of the finals.
• Was 3-2 at Southern Scuffle, including dropping a tight 3-1 contest to then-No. 12 Zeke Moisey of West Virginia.
• Topped then-No. 8 Barlow McGhee of Missouri 7-6 in a road dual.
• Won 10 of his 18 matches by bonus point decisions, including five  falls.
• Seven of his nine losses came by decision, six coming by a takedown or less.

Prior to Cornell
• Won a Pennsylvania state title as a senior at Canon-McMillan HS and was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler in the WPIAL.
• Finished with a career record of 133-15, including 40-2 as a senior.
• Ended as the state runner-up as a junior and finished fourth as a sophomore.
• Named the Outstanding Wrestler at the 2014 Dapper Dan Wrestling Classic.
• Helped his team to a pair of state titles.

• Dalton Steven Macri is the son of Brad Macri and Mandy Armstrong and has a brother.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
