As a senior (2016-17)
• Named the team's Swimming MVP.
• Lowered her own school record in the 1,650 free by more than eight seconds (16:45.17) and also set the mark in the 400 IM (4:17.58), reaching the podium with eighth-place finishes in both events at the Ivy League championships.
• Established a Big Red record in the 1,000 free (10:00.53) at the Ivy meet.
• Her time of 1:50.25 in the 200 free was the third-fastest on the all-time charts.
• In her final three collegiate dual meets, Murch Elliot won five of the seven races she entered.
As a junior (2015-16)
• Established school records in the 1,000 free and 400 IM and posted the second-fastest time in Cornell history in the 1,650 free at the 2016 Ivy League Championships.
• Made the A final in the 400 IM after a Cornell-record time of 4:18.79 in the prelims and finished eighth overall.
• Finished 14th in a school-record outing in the 1,000 free, besting her own time of 10:02.82 with a 10:01.06.
• Swam the second leg of the 400 medley relay team that posted the eight-best time in school history.
• Finished 16th overall in the mile in 16:53.50.
• Won eight individual dual meet races during the season.
• Finished in the top three in four different events at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational, including titles in the 400 IM and 1,650 free.
As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Murch Elliot was named the team’s co-MVP shared the team's Hardest Worker Award with teammate Jennifer Zhang.
• Murch Elliot was 13th at the Ivy meet in both the 1,000 and 1,650 free races and was 11th in the 400 IM.
• She set the school record in the 1,000 free earlier in the season and owns the record in the 500 free while ranking in the top 10 in the 400 IM (third), mile (fourth), and 200 IM (seventh).
• Murch Elliot won nine dual meet races during the season, including sweeping three races (200 IM, 500 and 1000 free) against Brown.
As a freshman (2013-14)
• While being a very versatile swimmer, during her first season with the Big Red Murch Elliot competed primarily in the freestyle events.
• She set Cornell school records in the 500 and 1000 freestyle.
• Murch Elliot was selected as a member of the Big Red’s Ivy League Championship team.
• On the season’s best times list, she ranked first in the 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyle; third in the 400 IM and fourth in the 200 IM.
• On Cornell’s all-time top 10 list, Murch Elliot finished her freshman campaign ranked first in the 500 and 1000 freestyle; fourth in the 1650 freestyle; sixth in the 400 IM and ninth in the 200 IM.
Prior to Cornell
• Murch Elliot finished in the top 20 at Open Water Nationals a year ago and was the North Carolina open water swimmer of the year.
• She finished 16th at junior nationals.
Personal
• Currie Foster Murch Elliot is the daughter of David and Lori Murch Elliot and has a sister, Billy, who also competes on the Cornell swimming team, and another younger sister.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
