Biography
Prior to Cornell
Masias played for the Peruvian National Polo team in the qualify rounds for the FIP World Cups in Lima (2014) and Brazil (2011). His team won the Peruvian National Polo Tournament in 2010 and 2011. Won the Max Peña, one of the most important tournaments of the Peruvian season, while playing alongside his brother and cousin in 2015.
Personal
Ignacio Federico Masias is the son of Ignacio Masias and Jimena Uranga and the older brother of Lorenzo and Antonia. Masias chose Cornell because of the business school and polo team. He intends to major in Applied Economics and Management and pursue a career in possibly entrepreneurship or consulting. Says he hopes to win the National Championship this year. Father graduated from Cornell in 1986. Ignacio Masias is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
