Biography
As a junior (2019-20)
• Did not appear in any scoring matches, but did compete twice at the No. 10 position.
As a sophomore (2018-19)
• Ranked second on team in winning percentage with 9-5 record while competing from bottom third of order.
• Had team's lone five-match winning streak, defeating opponents from Drexel, Western Ontario, Franklin & Marshall, Navy and Brown from Jan. 18 to Feb. 2.
• Won first Ivy League match, defeating opponent from Columbia at No. 9 spot on Dec. 2.
• Closed season with three-game victory over opponent from F&M in Hoehn Cup.
As a freshman (2017-18)
• Did not appear in any scoring matches.
Prior to Cornell
• Ranked in India's top five in the BU19 division and represented his home country in the Asian Junior Squash Team Championships.
Personal
• Yohann Jehangir Surti is the son of Jehangir and Asheish Surti, and he has one sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
