As a senior (2020-21)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

As a junior (2019-20)

• Competed in five events during her junior campaign.
• Crewed the Cornell B entry at the Boehringer Memorial, grabbing third place.
• Also competed at the Jesuit Open, the Stu Nelson Women's, the Yale Women's Interconference and the John Jackson Team Race.
 

As a sophomore (2018-19)

• Sailed for the Big Red as crew at the Sperry Women's Semifinals in B Division, helping Cornell earn a spot in the finals.
• Crewed B division in five races in the women's finals, earning a pair of second-place finishes.
• Competed in seven events during the season.
• Earned a spot in the Faye Bennett Women's Singlehandeds, taking 16th overall.
• Helped the Big Red qualify for women's nationals at the MAISA Women's National Qualifier.
 

As a freshman (2017-18)

• Made her collegiate debut at the Navy Radial Open, placing 13th in the singlehanded event.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Buescher took second overall in Northeast Ohio while sailing at Mentor HS in 2015.
• Was a two-year team captain.
• Sailed for the Mentor Harbor Yacht Club Advanced sailing race team.
• Captained the team in 2017, placing third at the Junior Olympics.
• Took fourth at the junior championships in 2017.
• Lettered twice in swimming and diving while competing in the sprints.
 

Personal

• Halle Elizabeth Buescher is the daughter of Alfred and Christine Buescher and has a younger sister.
• She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
