As a Junior (2017-18)
• Competed in seven indoor meets in the high jump, placing in the top 10 each time.
• Cleared a season-best height (5-3 1/4) at the Nittany Lion Challenge to finish 10th.
As a Sophomore (2016-17)
• Continued to compete exclusively in the high jump as a sophomore, competing in 11 meets and coming away with three first place finishes and eight top 10 finishes overall.
• Indoors, won the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational and was 11th overall at the Ivy League Indoor Track and Field Championships.
• Outdoors, won the Cortland Classic Invitational and the Ithaca College Tuesday Meet.
• Set a personal record of 5’6.5” in earning fourth at outdoor Heps.
As a Freshman (2015-16)
• Competed in the high jump in six meets during her freshman season, finishing in the top 10 on four occasions.
• Earned a fourth place finish at the Robert J. Kane Invitational with a 5’3” clearance.
Before Cornell
• The 2014 New York state high jump champion, Smith was a dominant force in the Albany area.
• Best is 5 feet, 7 inches, and was the Eastern States indoor champion in 2015.
• In 2014, finished 15
th at Nationals after placing fourth at Eastern States.
• Was also a member of two academic honor societies.

• Grace Ann Smith is the daughter of Peter and Jennifer Smith.
• She has an older brother, Samuel, older sister, Kathryn, and younger brother, Jacob.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
