As a Senior (2019-20)
• Competed in five meets in either the 60 or the 60 hurdles.
• Finished in the top-five on four occasions.
• Earned a first-place finish in the 60H at the Kane Invitational (2/1).
• Ran in the 60 hurdles at the Ivy League Indoor Heps Championships (2/29-3/1).
As a Junior (2018-19)
• Recorded 17 top-five placements throughout the track season.
• Finished first in the 60 hurdles at the Upstate Challenge (1/19) and the Marc Deneault Invitational (2/16).
• Notched a fourth-place in the 60H at the Ivy League Indoor Heps Championships (2/23-24).
• Placed first in the 100 hurdles at the Titan Team Challenge (3/30).
• Earned a fifth-place finish in the 100H at the Ivy League Outdoor Heps Championships (5/4-5); also finished third in the 4x100.
• Finished ninth in the 100H at the ECAC Championships (5/11-12).
• Broke the record for the indoor 60H at the Heps Championships.
As a Sophomore (2017-18)
• Broke own school record in the 100 hurdles (13.51) at the Outdoor Heps to place third.
• Also scored as a member of the third-place 4x100 relay (46.05).
• At Indoor Heps, crossed the line fifth in the 60 hurdles (8.66).
• NCAA East Preliminary Championships qualifier in the 100 hurdles, taking 39th overall (13.60).
• Tallied six total wins and 21 top-three finishes throughout the year.
• Earned a personal record in the indoor 200 (25.26) to take third at the Nittany Lion Challenge.
• Notched an indoor long jump PR (18-7) to take runner-up honors at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open.
As a Freshman (2016-17)
• Had a breakout year in her debut season for the Big Red, breaking school records in the 60 meter hurdles (8.54) and the 4x100 relay (45.01).
• Also holds the ninth-fastest time in program history in the 60 meters (7.70).
• During indoor season, garnered nine top-three finishes in her respective events and was runner-up in the 60 hurdles at the Indoor Heps as well as 13th in the long jump.
• Success continued into the outdoor season where she racked up nine more top-three placings including a runner-up finish in the 4x100 relay and a fourth-place showing in the 100 hurdles at the outdoor league championships.
• Also had the same result in those two events at the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships.
• Made an appearance at the NCAA East Preliminary Round as a member of the 4x100 relay, helping her team to a 21st-place showing.
Before Cornell
• Stenekes, a seven-time medalist at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations Championships, earned a gold medal in the long jump and a silver medal in the 100 meter hurdles at the 2016 OFSAA Championships.
• Also earned silver in the long jump in 2015, gold in the 80 meter hurdles and bronze in the long jump in 2014, and silver in the 80 meter hurdles and bronze in the long jump in 2013.
• Represented Team Ontario at the 2015 Canadian Youth Track and Field Championships in 2015, earning a silver medal in the 100 meter hurdles.
Personal
• Brittany Shae Stenekes is the daughter of Mark and Tricia Stenekes, and she has an older sister, Sydney.
• She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
