As a Senior (2019-20)
• Did not compete in any meets.
As a Junior (2018-19)
• Competed at nine meets throughout the season.
• Recorded five top-five placements, including a first-place finish at the Big Red Invitational (4/28).
• Jumped for a season-best 11.10m at the Greg Page Relays (12/1).
As a Sophomore (2017-18)
• Competed at the Big Red Outdoor Invitational, taking second in the triple jump with a person record (37-5 1/4).
As a Freshman (2016-17)
• Competed in the long jump and triple jumps for Cornell, earning 10 top 10 finishes and one individual title.
• Indoors, won the triple jump at the Cornell Cabin Fever Invitational with a collegiate-best mark of 35’8”.
• Outdoors, finished second in the triple jump at the Ithaca College Tuesday Meet and also at that meet, set a personal record of 16’4.25” in the long jump for seventh place.
Before Cornell
• Valkos, who competes in the triple, long and high jumps, captained the field hockey, basketball and track teams her senior year.
• Was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Science Honor Society while in high school.

• Julia Marie Valkos is the daughter of Andrew and Claudia Valkos.
• She has a brother, Andrew, and two sisters, Nicole and Samantha.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
