As a Junior (2017-18)
• Second-Team All-Ivy (Indoor 4x800 relay)
• Ranks in the top 10 at Cornell in three relays.
• Third in the indoor 4x800 relay, seventh in outdoor 4x800 and ninth in indoor DMR.
• Double scorer at Indoor Heps, taking fifth in the 800 (2:12.98) and second in the 4x800 (8:50.23).
• Scored at Outdoor Heps as a part of the 4x800 (8:43.83) that placed third.
• Also took ninth in the 800 with a personal-record time of 2:09.87.
• Finished 15th in the 800 at the ECAC Outdoor Championships (2:10.69).
• Recorded four wins and 10 top-three finishes on the year.
• Earned PR in the indoor 800 at the Valentine Invitational (2:11.04).
• Did not compete in any cross country meets.
As a Sophomore (2016-17)
• Had a strong sophomore campaign for the Big Red, earning 17 top 10 performances and competing in both the indoor and outdoor Ivy League Track and Field Championships.
• Was second in the 800 at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open and ran a collegiate-best 2:12.80 in the event for sixth at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup.
• Won the 500 at the Upstate Challenge.
• At indoor Heps, finished ninth in the 500 and was a member of the fifth place 4x800 relay squad.
• Outdoors, was fifth in the 400 hurdles at the UCLA Legends Invitational and won the event at the Ithaca College Tuesday Meet with a personal record 1:02.51.
• Placed 12th in the 400 hurdles at outdoor Heps.
As a Freshman (2015-16)
• Had a successful first season competing in the sprints and hurdles for the Big Red, going all the way to the Ivy League Championships both indoors and outdoors and also the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Championships.
• Finished 12th overall in the 500 at both the indoor Heptagonal and IC4A/ECAC championships, running a personal best 1:15.62 at the latter.
• Outdoors, competed primarily in the 100 and 400 hurdles.
• In the 400 hurdles, finished ninth overall at the Bruin Legends of Track and Field Invitational with a season-best 1:02.64 and finished 10th overall at the outdoor Heptagonals.
Before Cornell
• Had a tremendous senior season, finishing fourth at the New Jersey Meet of Champions at 400 meter hurdles, running a personal best 61.71.
• Also excels at the 100 hurdles and was ranked number No. 3 indoors in New Jersey in the 800 as junior.
• Earned four letters in spring track and three in both winter track and cross country.
Personal
• Christina Chee Welzer is the daughter of Frank and Sue Welzer.
• She has a younger brother, Will.
• She is enrolled in the College of Architecture, Art and Planning.
