As a Junior (2021-22)
• Ran a personal best 20:53.5 as she earned All-Ivy honors and finished seventh to lead the Big Red at Heps.
• Hit the mats at 21:42.6 for 43rd overall at NCAA Northeast Regionals
As a Sophomore (2019-20)
• Competed in five indoor meets.
• Earned a third-place finish in the DMR at the Upstate Challenge (1/25) and a second-place finish in the mile at the Marc Deneault (2/22).
• Notched personal records in the 3000 and the 5000 at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge (2/8) and the Valentine Invite (2/14-15), respecitvely.
As a Freshman (2018-19)
• Ran in three outdoor meets.
• Earned a 1500m PR of 4:40.8 at the Bison Outdoor Classic (4/13-14).
• Secured a first place finish in the 1500m and an 800m PR of 2:21.31 at the Cortland Classic Invitational (4/19-20).
• Ran in five indoor meets.
• Compiled three second-place finishes in the mile.
• Finished the season with three PRs in the mile (5:08.92), 1000m (3:05.3) and in the 3000m (10:34.35).
• Ran in five cross country meets, earning a 6k PR of 22:12.8 at the Paul Short Open (9/29).
• Finished 72nd at the Ivy League Cross Country Heptagonals (10/27).
Prior to Cornell
• Had big breakthroughs as senior at Homestead HS, improving to 4:59.21 for 1600 and 10:48.35 for 3200.
• Advanced to highly competitive California state cross country meet.
Personal
• Rebecca Eileen Hasser is the daughter of Christopher and Shiela Hasser.
• Has one sister, Emily, who graduated from Cornell in 2020.
• Enrolled in the College of Engineering.
