As a Freshman (2018-19)
• Notched 11 top-five placements in the pole vault, including three first-place finishes.
• Finished first at the Big Red Invitational (4/28), the Kane Invitational (1/26) and the Southern Tier Collegiate Open (1/5).
• Competed with a personal record at the CNY College Challenge (4/23).
• Recorded the seventh-best clear in outdoor pole vault program history.
Prior to Cornell
• Claimed a top spot on Indiana pole vault leaderboards, finishing third in the state meet as a senior at West Lafayette HS.
• Continually progressed throughout high school career, wrapping up with a personal best vault of 12 feet.
Personal
• Maria Joy Siciliano is the daughter of Debbie and Paul Siciliano.
• Her brother, Paul, played baseball for Kenyon College and graduated in 2020.
• Has another brother, Joey.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
