Biography
As a Junior (2017-18)
• Claimed the Ivy League Walk Trot Canter title.
As a Sophomore (2016-17)
• Kinnear placed first in multiple shows throughout the season.
• She later went on to be the teams’ point rider at Zones where Cornell placed third overall.
• She also helped the team achieve a perfect score and the title of Ivy League Champions at Ivies the same year.
• During that show Kinnear won first in her class and the title Ivy League Walk Trot Champion.
As a Freshman (2015-16)
• Kinnear made her horse show debut and placed first in her class.
Before Cornell
• Kinnear was a two-time letter winner in varsity bowling and scholar athlete at Canandaigua Academy.
Personal
• Madeline Jane Kinnear is the daughter of Lloyd and Melinda Kinnear, who both graduated from Cornell.
• Her mother, Melinda ’86, was a member of the Cornell women’s swimming team.
• Madeline has an older brother, Doyle.
