As a senior (2019-20)
• Served as one of the team’s two co-captains during her senior campaign.
• IHSA Regional qualifier in the limit flat division.
• Competed at nine shows over the course of the season, notching four individual victories.
• After winning her limit flat classes at the second show of Cornell’s double-header against RIT and at the Big Red’s second home show of the season, pointed out into intermediate flat.
• Recorded her first collegiate victory in intermediate flat at Alfred Show #2.
• Won her limit fences class at Cornell’s first home show of the season.
As a sophomore (2017-18)
• Qualified for regionals in walk trot canter and placed sixth, moving up to novice.
As a freshman (2016-17)
• Placed first in four out of five shows in which she competed in the walk trot canter division.
• Represented the team at the Zone 2 Championships in walk trot canter, placing second.
Prior to Cornell
• Competed with the Good Shepherd Farm equestrian team prior to arriving at Cornell.
• Qualified for regionals individually and with the Good Shepherd Farm team from 2013-2016.
• Helped Good Shepherd Farm advance to the 2014 IEA Zone Finals.
Personal
• Katherine Josephine Wagner is the daughter of Robert and Barbara Wagner.
• She has two brothers, Jonathan and Alex.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Science.
