As a Sophomore (2019-20)

• Compete in the triple jump four times and the long jump twice.
• Notched a season-best 14.51m at Indoor Heps with his eighth-place finish (2/29-3/1).
• Best finish was at the Kane Invitational (second) (2/1).
 

As a Freshman (2018-19)

• Recorded 10 top-five placements, including three first-place finishes in the long jump.
• Notched a triple jump PR at the Pomon-Pitzer Invitational (4/6) and a long jump PR at the Virginia Challenge (4/20).
• Placed seventh (long jump) and 10th (triple jump) at Indoor Heps (2/23-24).
• Earned 18th-place in the long jump at Outdoor Heps (5/4-5).
 

Before Cornell

• Bridges had a stellar high school career at Pine Crest High School, where he was a four time letterwinner on the varsity track and field team.
• He placed top-seven on two separate occasions in the Junior Olympics for triple jump.
• Was the 2018 District, Regional, and State Champion, as well as the City Champion in both long jump and triple jump.
• Finished as a runner-up in the Florida outdoor state meet in 2017.
• Competed for Broward Elite, which he twice earned USATF All-America honors for in the triple jump in 2015 and 2017.
• His personal bests are 48’3.5 for triple jump and 23’3 for long jump.
• Member of the Spanish Honors Society in 2016.

• Tony James Bridges is the son of Will and Sandra Bridges and he has four siblings.
• He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
