Biography
As a junior (2019-20)
• Moved up a division from the 2018-19 season, competing in novice equitation as a junior.
• Competed at four shows, notching a top-two finish in every novice class in which she competed.
• Won her novice classes at the first show of Cornell’s double-header against RIT and at Cornell’s second home show of the season.
As a freshman (2017-18)
• Enjoyed a spot on the Cornell women’s varsity polo team.
Prior to Cornell
• Has eight years of Hunter-Jumper experience in the Ithaca area.
• Played on the Cornell interscholastic polo team in high school from her sophomore thru senior years.
Personal
• Hannah Roman is the daughter of Cornell alumni David Roman and Heather Bartlett Roman.
• She has one older brother, Caleb.
• She is an agricultural sciences major and is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
• She is also a scholarship midshipman in the Cornell NROTC with hopes of becoming a future Marine Corps officer.
