Appeared in all 17 games on the season, started 15 ... led the team with 22 points and eight goals ... notched five game-winning goals ... scored both game-winning goals in the team’s opening weekend; against Syracuse in a 2-1 win and against Lock Haven in a 3-2 victory ... totaled two goals at Yale in a 2-1 win ... earned her best weekend of the season with two goals and two assists against Brown (4-0) and an assist at Syracuse ... completed final game-winning goal in a 3-2 win at Dartmouth for the final game of the season ... named the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week twice (week of September 9 and November 11); also named to the weekly honor roll on two different occasions.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
A four-year letter winner at Garrison Forest School ... the team’s leading scorer in 2016 and 2017 ... honored as a member of the Maryland All-State Team in 2016 and 2017 ... a two-time IAAM All-Conference Team selection (2016-17) ... selected to the Baltimore Sun All-Metro First Team in 2017 ... earned NFHCA All-Academic Team honors for the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons ... played club for the WC Eagles Field Hockey Club ... helped her team to a U14, U16, and U19 NIT Pool Championship ... also won a U14 NCC Championship ... took part in a China Tour where the WC Eagles played in the U18 Chinese National Championships in 2017 ... also a competitive equestrian rider.

Claire Anderson Jones is the daughter of Patrick and Elizabeth Jones and has one younger brother ... her father played basketball for Ithaca College ... enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
